A huge amount of time was spent on the development of our exhaust system for the Honda CB1000 Hornet. We bought our development bike as soon as they became available and set about data logging both on our dyno and on the road. Hundreds of hours were spent testing the standard bike and every modification we made. We tried and tested several prototype systems before settling on the final design. Theories of what will work are all well and good, but dyno results and road testing speak for themselves.
The exhaust was designed to maximise the volumetric efficiency of the engine and as with all our exhaust systems it was designed hand in hand with the ECU remapping. Ensuring the software and the hardware are working together harmoniously to create synergy.
Our systems are manufactured in the UK from T304 stainless steel ensuring longevity and light weight.
With our exhaust system and our purpose developed remap you can expect:
